Our Story
I.
Oxford, England — 1929
The First Act
Mauricio was mid-sentence on Victorian literature when Pixel wandered through the wrong door. He had meant to attend a seminar on economics. He stayed for the entire hour — not out of politeness, but because he could not take his eyes off the woman commanding that room. He lingered after, inventing a question about Dickens.
II.
The Cotswolds — 1931
The Proposal
On a grey October morning, Pixel led Mauricio on what seemed a simple countryside walk. Hidden among the hedgerows, a small quartet awaited. He descended to one knee before she had taken in the flowers. She said yes before he had finished the question.

What to Wear
Attire
Dress Code
Black Tie
The attire is, quite simply, the heart of this celebration. We request formal evening wear in honour of the occasion — and we cannot wait to see how each of you interprets the night.
For Her
Floor-Length Gowns
Elegant, floor-length evening gowns in rich, saturated tones. Think midnight, emerald, garnet, or deep plum. Fine jewellery and heels complete the look for an evening beneath the chandeliers.
For Him
Black Tuxedo
Black tuxedos or dark formal evening suits, worn with a bow tie or slim necktie. Polished dress shoes are expected. When in doubt, err on the side of classic and understated.
Kindly Avoid
Reserved Shades
Out of respect for the bride, we kindly ask guests to refrain from white, ivory, and champagne. These shades are reserved for the wedding party on the evening.

By Air
Bob Hope Airport (BUR) in Burbank is 20 minutes distant. LAX is approximately 45 minutes. We recommend arranging a rideshare or private car service for the evening.
II.
By Road
From the 118 Freeway: exit at Topanga Canyon Blvd heading north, then turn left onto Superior Street. Ample parking is available on-site; valet service shall be provided.
III.
Shuttle Service
Complimentary shuttles will depart from the Hilton Garden Inn and the Canoga Park Metro station at 2:30 and 2:45 in the afternoon, returning at midnight and at half past.
